I build websites and iOS apps for clients who want one person accountable for the whole thing.
Nine years building production software. Two of my own apps are on the App Store, a third is in development.
Available for new projects now. Based in Oslo, moving to Bangkok in January 2027, working remotely either way.

What I build.
Websites
Marketing sites, landing pages and content sites. Fast on a bad connection, accessible by default, and built so you can edit the words without calling me.
Web apps
Accounts, data, payments, dashboards. The work here is in the parts that have to keep working when the input is wrong and the network is not there.
iOS apps
Swift and SwiftUI, from the first screen through App Store review. Two of the apps below are mine, so the submission process holds no surprises.
One person start to finish. You talk to whoever is writing the code, which is the same person who answers the email.
Nine years of production software.
Nine years building and running systems for a Norwegian accounting group, where a quiet failure means someone’s books are wrong for a month. That is why I care more about error handling than animation.

C# .NET 6 to 8. Integrations between customers and View's accounting systems. CSV, JSON and XML over SFTP, Service Bus, Blob Storage and HTTP. Mapping into GL reports and AR/AP transactions. GraphQL against Xledger. Built the invoice payment status integrations that return data to customers.

Vebjørn Baustad.
Nine years of this has taught me the interesting work sits in the parts most teams skip. The loading state. The empty state. What a job does when the third-party API returns nothing at four in the morning.
I test my own apps on the Oslo metro, which is the quickest way to learn what breaks when the signal goes.
English or Norwegian.
